How many papers are there in the CA Foundation examination in India?

The CA Foundation examination is the first level of the Chartered Accountancy course in India. It is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) twice a year, in May and November. The CA Foundation examination consists of four papers in total. Some of the topics covered in this paper include Indian Contract Act, 1872, Sale of Goods Act, 1930, Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, writing skills, formal letters, and business correspondence.

Paper 3: Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Statistics 

This paper consists of 100 marks and is divided into two parts. Part A covers business mathematics and logical reasoning, while Part B covers statistics. Some of the topics covered in this paper include ratio and proportion, equations and inequalities, time value of money, permutations and combinations, logical reasoning, statistical description of data, and measures of central tendency.

Paper 4: Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge 

This paper consists of 100 marks and is divided into two parts. Part A covers business economics, while Part B covers business and commercial knowledge. Some of the topics covered in this paper include microeconomics and macroeconomics, demand and supply, market equilibrium, production and cost, and business cycles.
